Standard System We consider a standard system to be the most basic of central vacuum systems. Equipped with an air-driven power head, the standard system is great in homes with mixed floor coverings such as hardwoods, area rugs, carpet and vinyl/linoleum.

Electric System Our electric system is specifically designed for applications where the floor coverings are 70% or more carpet and where there would be a high-level of traffic on those carpeted areas. With this system, we offer what we consider to be the most durable and best cleaning electric power nozzles in the industry – Lindhaus PB12 or Lindhaus PB14. With a brush driven by 120 volts of electricity, this system has the ability to withstand large amounts of pet hair, human hair as well as the majority of outdoor dirt that can be pushed deep into the fibers of carpet.

Retractable Hose System The retractable hose system has quickly become our most popular system to install primarily due to its convenience and ease of use. Without any need for additional wall space, the hose conveniently follows the pipe network back into the wall so there is no dragging the hose around the house and up and down the stairs. Have a quick spill? Pull out what you need, clean the mess and suck the hose back into the wall. Here is a short video that gives an example of how the Hide-A-Hose retractable hose system operates.

Hybrid System For those that may want the best of both worlds, this customized system gives the end-user the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of the retractable hose system in at least one location, while using the standard or electric system in another location of the same building. For instance, some have chosen to have the Hide-A-Hose installed on the first floor of their homes, while the second floor is standard. Many folks who already have a central vacuum system choose this option due to the ease of converting the first floor to the retractable hose system.
