The SEBO ESSENTIAL G4 (12-inch, 90406AM) and G5 (15-inch, 90407AM) are sturdy bagged uprights with four manual brush heights and an electronic warning system. Choose the 12-inch G4 for everyday rooms or the 15-inch G5 to cover open floors faster.

Why you’ll love it

Two widths: G4 cleans a 10.5-inch path; G5 cleans 13.25 inches. Both have one-sided edge cleaning.
Four manual heights: set the brush for low rugs, medium carpet or hard floors.
Electronic warnings: a check-brush light for a worn brush or a height set too high, plus shut-offs for a jam or a full bag.
Instant-use wand and hose: an 8-foot reach for corners and furniture.
Scuff-resistant matte finish: it keeps looking good after years of use.

Why it shuts itself off

If the brush jams, it stops and the vacuum shuts off to protect the belts and motor. If the bag is full or airflow is clogged, a red light comes on and the vacuum shuts off after 60 seconds.

Durable, heavy-duty belts

Reinforced, geared belts don’t slip or stretch and should last the life of the machine.

Is this right for your home?

Families wanting a long-lasting workhorse: manual controls and heavy-duty belts.
Pet hair: excellent pet-hair removal.
Larger rooms: the 15-inch G5 and a 40-foot cord.
Under beds: a 5.5-inch profile with the handle flat.

Questions & care

G4 or G5?

Same motor and features. The G5’s 15-inch head covers more floor per pass; the 12-inch G4 is easier around furniture.

Which height should I use?

Choose the lowest setting that still pushes comfortably. If the setting is too high to clean well, the check-brush light stays on.

How far can the hose reach?

8 feet with the wand. SEBO’s optional 9-foot extension hose brings total hose length to 15 feet.

Is HEPA available?

Yes, HEPA filtration is available for the G series.

Care & replacement supplies

Change the bag when the bag-full light comes on. The ESSENTIAL G uses a separate exhaust filter.
