The SEBO DART in White (9855AM) gives you a canister vacuum’s flexibility in an upright. It has a 12-inch ET-1 power head for carpets, a brush you can switch off for hard floors and delicate rugs, and a suction unit that lifts off to become a handheld vacuum for stairs, upholstery and car interiors.

Why you’ll love it

Upright and handheld in one: remove the power head and carry the suction unit by its side handle.
Brush on/off button: press the green button on the power head for straight suction on hard floors and delicate rugs.
Ultra-quiet: It is rated at 68 dBA. Its exhaust filter also absorbs motor noise.
Gets under counters: the L-shaped head’s extended side reaches under cabinet toe-kicks.
Instant-use hose: pull it out for corners and furniture, with two on-board tools.

Warning lights on the power head

A steady red light means the brush height is set too high or the bristles are worn. A flashing red light means something jammed the brush: the roller stops to protect the belt, motor and carpet.

Full bag or clog

An indicator window on the bag lid fills with orange, and a bypass valve opens to keep the motor from overheating.

Is this right for your home?

Homes with stairs: use it as a handheld, or add SEBO’s optional 9-foot extension hose for 15 feet of reach.
Carpet plus hard floors: brush on for carpet, brush off for hard floors.
Pet hair: the ET-1 head easily removes pet hair.
Noise-sensitive homes: 68 dBA.

Questions & care

DART or FELIX?

The FELIX adds 180° steering, variable suction, an adjustable handle, a parquet brush and automatic brush shut-off when you pull the hose. The DART keeps the same power head, filtration and handheld design at a lower price.

Is there a wand?

No wand comes with the DART. SEBO sells a 22-inch extension wand, upholstery nozzle and 9-foot hose individually or as a three-piece set (#1999AM).

Is HEPA available?

No. The DART has S-class filtration but no HEPA option.

Does the brush stop when the handle is upright?

Yes. The brush roller shuts off automatically when the handle is locked upright.

Care & replacement supplies

Change the bag when the orange indicator fills, and close the hygiene cap first. Replace the pre-motor filter as needed.
