The SEBO AUTOMATIC X4 Boost (Arctic White 90506AM or Red 90505AM) is SEBO’s 12-inch automatic upright with a boost button. Its controller sets the brush height for you on carpet and hard floors, and boost adds deeper brush action when a rug or high-traffic carpet needs it.

Why you’ll love it

Two brush modes: the default suits most floors; boost lets the brush dig deeper into carpets and rugs.
Automatic height: no dial to set between rooms.

How boost works

Normally the head lifts as soon as the brush meets a set amount of resistance. Boost lets the brush meet more resistance before it lifts, so it works deeper into the pile.

Stationary-use light

With the handle locked upright, the head lifts off the floor. If very deep pile still touches the brush, a red light flashes so you can tilt the handle back.

Questions & care

X4 Boost or X4?

Both have SEBO’s automatic height and 12-inch head. The Boost adds the button for deeper brush action on carpet.

Can I reach stairs?

The built-in wand and hose reach 8 feet; SEBO’s optional 9-foot extension hose brings total hose length to 15 feet.

What happens if the bag is full?

The bag-full or clog light comes on, and the vacuum shuts off after 30 seconds to protect the motor.

Can I clean along walls?

Yes. The power head has one-sided edge cleaning.

Change the bag when the bag-full light stays on. SEBO’s Service Box for the X1/X4/X5 bundles 8 bags with an exhaust filter, a pre-motor microfilter and a sealing strip.
